To be first in the know and access to early bird tickets, sign up to our Brewsletter below

Beer InCider is a tasting festival that brings together 50+ independent breweries and cideries, some of Australia's best bands and 17 food trucks. It's a deliciously rocking event. What's more, we've got an espresso martini and prosecco bar, putt putt, ping pong, an ol' fashioned strength tester and heaps of picnic space. Just add friends and enjoy....

DATES & VENUE

The 2017 Beer InCider Experience is on Friday 22 September (4.30pm - 10pm) and Saturday 23 September (11am - 9pm) at the Brisbane Showgrounds, Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills (Brisbane). The event is strictly 18+ years and photo ID is required upon entry. The event is ticketed and one ticket gets you entry both days. Winning.

Set Times

So you've heard we have a wicked music line up and want to check out who's playing when?!? We've released the Set Times and you can find them here!

'tap & go' pOWERED BY SQUARE

This year we're cashless (ooh!) which means bring your debit card, credit card, Android or iPhone (with mobile wallet enabled) and get ready to 'tap & go' powered by Square. Every brewer, food truck and bar (even the merch tent) will only take payment with a Visa, Mastercard or Amex debit or credit card or your NFC enabled smart phone with 'tap & go' functionality. No pesky tokens, no ATM machines charging $3.50 a transaction, no Bobs, no lining up for currency and no hassles. It's simples.

Just repeating - cash will not be accepted at this year's festival. You must bring your debit or credit card that has 'tap & go' functionality.

FESTIVAL MAP

Check out the Beer InCider festival map! A reminder that entry is via Gregory Terrace. Be sure to check out our essentials list here.

Footy

Will we be showing the Broncos game on Friday night and the Richmond game on Saturday? Yes. Plus, the Cowboys game starts at 8pm on Saturday night so we'll be showing it until we close the festival at 9pm. Head to the Wine & Cocktail Bar.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT, TAXI & uber

We like the way you think. The Brisbane Showgrounds is in close proximity to numerous public transport options including Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations (a short 10 minute walk away), as well as bus access on surrounding streets. For easy public transport directions check out Translink. Taxi and Uber drop off areas are also accessible. Click here for more details.

parking

We've buddied up with our friends at Secure Parking to lock in a deal for Beer InCider-goers. Get the details and promo code here.

The brews

The Brew List is out! Get your highlighter out and download it here. We will also have wine, cocktails, soft drink and water for the unconverted. Brews are available for purchase in 100mL tasters (which conveniently fit in our Beer InCider beer paddles - BYO paddle or visit the merch tent), pots and cans. Last drinks will be called 30 minutes prior to closing time. We are a tasting festival (not a beer swilling event). Please drink plenty of water (freely available at the event - bring an empty water bottle or sealed water) and eat heaps of great food. Cheers!

ACCOMMODATION

Our friends at Rydges Fortitude Valley have a cracking deal just for Beer InCider-goers and best of all, they're just metres from the entrance. Check out their rates here. Don't forget to book a babysitter!

merchandise

While you're at Beer InCider, be sure to wander over to the merch tent run by the legends at Thirsty Merchants. There you can purchase Beer InCider merch as well as loads of stuff from our brewers and bands. Think t-shirts, caps, bottle openers, stubby coolers, beer paddles (in limited supply!) and more.

what to wear

At Beer InCider we're all about sun protection. There is a ginormous marquee at the Brisbane Showgrounds to keep us all sun safe but we do recommend you bring a hat and sunnies, especially on Saturday. We'll be wearing jeans and a flashy tee combo and shoes are a must. Don't forget to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek (shade) and Slide (on your sunglasses). A jumper will come in handy as the evenings can get quite chilly, and you're welcome to bring in an empty water bottle to fill up on site.

access

Brisbane Showgrounds has disabled access and disabled toilets.

lost & found

Lost or found something? All lost property will be taken to our information tent and a register kept of lost items. If you realise you've lost something after the festival, shoot us a message on Facebook.
