In Bed With Two Brewers - 6:15pm - Join Michael "Govs" McGovern from Black Hops and Pete "Smokey" Wheldon from Currumbin Valley Brewing as they get into bed (literally) with The Crafty Pint's James Smith. Wearing bath robes and enjoying a heavenly Super King bed thanks to Four Points by Sheraton, this session promises more than just pillow talk. Hear from two of Australia's best brewers as they discuss the beer industry, brewing and what the future holds.

Pub Quiz - 8pm -Love pub trivia? What about brewery trivia? Bring your smartest mates along as Beer InCider founder Marty Keetels, with special guests, seek out Australia's brewery trivia champion!


Beer Ahoy - 1.45pm - Ahoy there buccaneers! Join Queensland Maritime Museum CEO Emma Di Muzio and volunteer David Jones as we explore the tales of Brisbane's nautical past and how they're relevant to Brisbane's brewing scene. Like the story of four felons who discovered the Brisbane River or the IPA named after Captain Gibson and Brisbane's 1947 flood. We'll speak with Dean Romeo from Felons Brewing, Jon Fuchs from Sea Legs Brewing Co and Lauren Jack from Newstead Brewing Co.

Craft Beer Like A Boss - 3:15pm - Want to craft beer like a boss? In just 30 minutes, Burleigh Brewing Big Boss Brennan Fielding and 3 Burleigh Brewing brewers (Gerry Graf, Wez Disson & Rowan Haling), will teach you how to open a beer like a boss, pour a beer like a boss, taste beer like a boss, and heaps more. You'll be flinging craft beer lingo and looking like a 'craft beer boss' in no time, whether that's at Beer InCider, a bottle shop, party or your mate's backyard BBQ. Boss level up.

In Bed With A Brewer - 4:45pm - Join Philter Brewing's founders Mick and Stef as they get into bed (literally) with James Smith from The Crafty Pint. Donning plush bath robes and reclining in a Super King 'borrowed' from Four Points by Sheraton, this is one session you're welcome to disturb... Hear from one of Sydney's best as they discuss the beer industry, brewing and what it was like to brew our festival beer with Dear Seattle.

Sustaina-beer-lity - 6:15pm - We love our planet! It's the only one we know about with beer. Breweries are contributors to climate change and we all have a duty to minimise our environmental footprint. How do we lessen the negative impact of brewing on the environment? What programs can breweries, bars and festivals put in place to be great global citizens? Join Stone & Wood Brewing Sustainability Manager James Perrin, Helios Brewing co-owner Scott Shomer, Beer InCider Event Director Rebecca Whitehouse and Brouhaha Brewery brewer Matt Jancauskas as they discuss strategies and ideas on how we can work together to lessen the effect of the local supply chain.
