Travelling to Beer InCider from the coast or further afar? Don't forget FREE public transport to and from the festival is included in your pre-purchased ticket. How good is that?! Simply show your pre-purchased ticket or festival wristband when boarding any Translink bus or Queensland Rail City Network train service. (Not available on Airtrain, CityCat, ferry or tram services.)

The Brisbane Showgrounds is super close to numerous public transport options including Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations (a short 10-minute walk away), as well as bus access on surrounding streets. For easy public transport directions check out Translink.

On the other side of the river, South Bank beckons with 17 hectares of parklands, the Streets Beach swimming lagoon and the eye-opening galleries of the Cultural Precinct. Take a leisurely cruise on the river from South Bank or at Eagle Street Pier.

If it’s adventure you’re after, head to Kangaroo Point for abseiling, rock-climbing, kayaking the river, roller-blading or cycling. For the ultimate experience, climb the Story Bridge and savour views over the city, hinterland and Moreton Bay.
