We have a lot of undercover space thanks to two big ass marquees. Bring a jumper (it can get chilly in the evenings) and get set to whet that thirst and appetite at Beer InCider.

Tickets are sold in releases and there are general admission, group, weekend and VIP tickets available. Tickets start from $30 each (+BF) for a one-day general admission group ticket (6 or more tickets purchased in one transaction) and VIP tickets from $125 each (+BF). VIP and weekend tickets are extremely limited and will sell out. General admission tickets will only be available at the gate if not sold out prior.

Sorry, no refunds but prior to the event you can give your ticket to a mate. They just need to be over 18 and present photo ID at the gate (as proof of age). You do not need to change the name on the ticket. For more info on our ticketing policy, see the bottom of the homepage.

You sure can. If you can find a couple of mates, purchase a group of 6 or more tickets to score the discounted group rate. Make sure you select the GROUP RATE ticket.

Nope! Save a tree and show your ticket on your mobile – we can scan it from there.

Only if not sold out prior. We highly recommend you pre-purchase your ticket online. Why? 1) save money 2) get free public transport to and from the festival (simply show your pre-purchased ticket or festival wristband when boarding any Translink bus or QR City Network train service) and 3) avoid missing out! If the event is sold out, it’s sold out. Limited tickets will only be available at the gate if not sold out prior. Don’t leave it to chance.

Uh oh. Lucky the team at Eventbrite are ready to help – click HERE.

Free public transport to and from the festival is included with your ticket. Simply show your pre-purchased ticket or festival wristband when boarding any Translink bus or Queensland Rail City Network train service. Not available on Airtrain, CityCat, ferry or tram services.

The Brisbane Showgrounds is super close to numerous public transport options including

Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations (a short 10-minute walk away), as well as bus access on surrounding streets. For easy public transport directions check out Translink.

Taxi and Uber drop off areas are also accessible. Ask for a drop off to the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) drop off area on Gregory Terrace.

There are 10 separate car parking facilities within the Brisbane Showgrounds and several alternative parking facilities in the area. Please appoint a designated driver and never drink and drive.

On Friday gates open 4pm and close at about 10pm; on Saturday gates open 12pm and close about 10pm. Last drinks are called 30 minutes prior to gates closing.

No sorry. This is an 18+ only event.

Everyone will be asked for valid photo identification. This means a Passport, Drivers Licence or an 18+ card. Photocopies are not valid forms of identification. There are no exceptions

Yes, Brisbane Showgrounds has disabled access and disabled toilets.

We’re a cashless event which means bring your Mastercard, Visa or AMEX debit or credit card, with ‘tap & go’ functionality or a chip. It’s ‘tap & go’ powered by Square. NO CASH is accepted.

We recommend meeting your mates outside the festival entrance at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills. The entrance is opposite Rydges Fortitude Valley.

Yes! Passouts are available. You will be required to show your wristband for re-entry to the festival so DON’T TAKE IT OFF. No wristband = no entry and no wristbands will be reissued. This includes weekend ticketholders and wristbands.

We love pets but unfortunately Beer InCider is a no-pet zone. Leave them at home with the kids – kidding – with the babysitter of course. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Yeah you can. Visit the merch tent run by the legends at Thirsty Merchants to purchase Beer InCider merch as well as merch from our brewers and bands. Think t-shirts, caps, bottle openers, stubby coolers, beer paddles and more. And remember, you can purchase it all with your debit or credit card with ‘tap & go’ powered by Square.

You are only permitted to smoke within the designated smoking areas. Look for the signs. There will be no cigarettes for sale at the festival.

You can find our growing list of brewers here. A comprehensive Brew List will be made available closer to the event in our handy festival guide. Make sure you’re a Brewsletter subscriber to be the first in the know about everything – sign up at www.beerincider.com.

Indeed! We will have wine, cocktails, alcoholic ginger beer, soft drink and water for the unconverted.

No. We've gone to great lengths to secure a fantastic line up of food trucks and brewers who will be serving up some super tasty options just for you. We'll be checking bags at the entrance to make sure no food, alcohol, glass or other contraband is brought into the venue. Please BYO empty water bottle and fill it within the festival from our free water fountain.

Yes. Check back for our full foodie line up to be announced soon.

There will be a 100mL taster, a pot and cans for sale. Your free reusable festival cup is 320mL (a standard pot is 285mL).

It’s an RSA thing. If you drop plastic, it bounces! Simples.

It’s all an illusion! Our reusable festival cups are actually 320mL so they fit a pot of beer (285mL).

On Friday you’ll vibe on some hip hop from Thundamentals, Briggs and Jesswar, while Saturday is all about rock with Hockey Dad, Ruby Fields, Dear Seattle, Charlie Collins, BRIS182 and VOIID.

For all the details, set times, line ups and more keep an eye on www.beerincider.com – we’ll announce set times soon.

Yeah you can! The ping pong arena will feature again in September bringing with it the highs and lows of competitive Berlin-style ping pong, as well as a couple of handball courts for the true sportsperson.

Yes! At Beer InCider we're all about sun protection. There are two ginormous marquees at the Brisbane Showgrounds to keep us all sun safe but we do recommend you bring a hat and sunnies. There will be free water fountains to fill your water bottle and hats available to purchase if you forget one. Don't forget to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek (shade) and Slide (on your sunnies).

Brisbane Showgrounds requires you to be “neatly dressed” while on site. We’ll be wearing jeans and a flashy tee combo. Yes you can wear shorts and thongs. Don’t forget to bring a jumper as the evenings can get quite chilly, plus a hat and sunglasses.

We don’t sorry. But you are welcome to bring in a tote bag to stash your gear in until you need it later. Bags are subject to a check at the gate.

We do take a limited number of volunteers each year. If you’re over 18 years of age and super reliable, then shoot a resume to us at ange@redhairevents.com with ‘BIC 2019 VOLLIE’ in the subject line. If you have your RSA too, be sure to mention it.

Have you checked your pockets? It’s okay, just visit our information tent. All lost property will be taken there, and a register will be kept of all lost items. If you realise you’ve lost something after the event (apart from your dignity), shoot us a message on Facebook and we’ll have our matchmaker try and reunite you.

We’d love to take a look at your work! Shoot us an email with a link to your portfolio to jess@redstockholm.com.au

You sure can. Email the team at Red Stockholm to arrange a time at jess@redstockholm.com.au

Please email rach@redhairevents.com ASAP with ‘EXHIBITOR INTEREST’ in the subject line.
